For this five-day vocal retreat our main focus is on freedom.
Freeing our voice, but also freeing our mindset and points of view, freeing ourselves from obligations and belief systems we haven't consciously chosen, freedom from our physical limitations...
To come closer to reaching this goal of ultimate freedom, we explore elements from voice- and breath-work, various healing techniques, exercises from martial arts, non-violent communication, possibility management and our own intuition. Beach, sun, good food and a massage will do the rest!
Open to all, the 'natural' approach we propose helps to remember how to relax, encouraging you to stay connected and allowing yourself to express your full vocal and vital potential.
Each meeting is an exploration of various aspects of the voice in an experimental and, rare and precious, safe space to learn to express yourself fully!
Morning and evening group sessions, with plenty of time to discover beaches, lie in a hammock or get a massage...

The main purpose of these sunny days is to provide, in a simple and light way, the techniques that help free the voice and develop harmonics in the voice. This week we will focus on freedom.
Freedom comes when we take responsibility for our actions, developing the ability to respond instead of react to inner and outside impulses.
Freedom comes when we know all our options, when we open up to multiple points of view, when we are able to consciously choose to create new possibilities.
Freedom shows up everywhere in our research into expression, in the various sounds and variations we learn to create, in the way we respond to the emotions involved in singing, and the awesome step from shyness to courageous expression.
Igor and Arianna will accompany everyone in our search for vocal relaxation and full natural expression, using techniques of breathing, movement and relaxation, discovering ourselves through the sound of our voice. It's the best kind of magic!

Some of the principles we follow are: being open to experience something new, to listen, to desire to grow, to develop sensitivity, courage, awareness, compassion and self-esteem. You do not need to know how to sing, you will be sung by your own heart :)
The course includes demonstrations of various singing techniques, both individual and group exercises, sharing moments and healthy deviations in other subjects.
