Over more than three decades Igor has created installations, performances, festivals, educational projects, ecological initiatives, musical experiments and collaborations that together form an ever-growing Living Archive.

Rather than documenting a career, the archive traces the evolution of a lifelong exploration into sound, creativity, community and regeneration.

This is a lifetime of inquiry, and you're invited to enter wherever your curiosity leads you.

IMMERSIVE SOUND SPACES

Where sound becomes a place to enter rather than something to hear.

Listening Chair with Multiple Speakers
One of the earliest explorations into immersive listening. By embedding loudspeakers inside a reclining chair, music was transformed from something heard into something physically experienced. The project marked the beginning of a lifelong fascination with sound as an environment rather than merely a performance.
Uroboros – The Giant Didgeridoo
Conceived inside a vibrating metal archive cabinet at the Art Academy in The Hague, Uroboros became the first architectural musical instrument: a giant didgeridoo that people could lie inside. More than an instrument, it became a symbol of birth, resonance and the circular nature of life itself. 
The Wooden Earth – Birth Performances
Originally designed as a meditation sphere, the wooden ball gradually evolved into a series of powerful public performances exploring birth, identity and transformation. Descending from theatre ceilings and emerging into the world through sound and breath, these performances became deeply personal rituals of renewal.
Head in the Sand
Inspired by a dream of entering a giant buried human head through its ear, this immersive sound sculpture explored the inner landscape of the mind. By gradually opening eyes, nose and mouth and emptying the interior of accumulated objects, the work became a metaphor for clearing perception and returning to presence.

MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS

Music as relationship, performance and cultural exchange

Florida – The Kinship & Water Bottle Band
During three months in the Sarasota Sufi Community, sound became increasingly connected with healing and community. Improvised percussion made from water bottles, beach drum circles and early proposals for sound healing structures laid the foundations for later work integrating music, vibration, massage and collective experience.
Feeling Sound Productions & Festivals
A production platform dedicated to building bridges between cultures through music. Organising concerts, festivals and artistic collaborations, it expanded Feeling Sound beyond performance into programming, production and the creation of shared cultural experiences.
A World Of Sound
Igor's first solo album captured the atmosphere of a live concert rather than a studio recording. Performed in the historic Sala della Nunziatura in Balerna, Switzerland, for the opening of the exhibition I Buddha del Tibet, it wove together overtone singing with instruments from different musical traditions. More than an album, it became the first recorded expression of the musical journey that would later grow into Feeling Sound.
Music For Documentary 'Samadhi - We Are One'
Igor helped create the soundtrack for the documentary Samadhi – We Are One, winner of the Best People and Nature Award at the Japan International Film Festival.
All Heart
This album is a celebration of our shared humanity. Produced by Jamie Catto (One Giant Leap) together with multi-instrumentalist Matt Coldrick, it brings together voices, rhythms and musical traditions from around the world into a joyful tapestry of sound, with Igor's overtone singing woven throughout. Performing the album live with a ten-piece band at England's Medicine Festival in 2024 was an unforgettable experience, and Nama Zeh remains one of our favourite tracks—an irresistible invitation to dance, celebrate and remember the joy of being alive.

Projects where singing became a way of creating community


Zenith Summer Camp
"For eighteen summers, the Zenith Summer Camp became my second home. Each year a temporary village rose in the mountains of Ticino, bringing together people from around the world to sing, meditate, build and celebrate community.
Beginning as a participant, I later became ceremony leader and eventually co-director. Zenith taught me that music is not only something we perform—it is one of the oldest ways of creating a village."
DomeniCanto
For almost a decade, groups gathered on Sunday mornings to discover historic churches through free singing rather than guided tours. Participants followed acoustics, intuition and emotion, allowing sacred architecture to reveal itself through their own voices and shared silence.
VUUS Choir
A polyphonic choir dedicated not only to musical excellence but to listening as a collective art. Singing together became an exploration of harmony, attention and the subtle intelligence that emerges when many voices breathe as one.
Vocations
International voice holidays combining travel, music and inner exploration. Rather than tourism, Vocations invited participants to experience places through singing, listening and community, discovering both landscapes and themselves along the way.
Sound & Silence
As co-director of the international festival on Corfu, Feeling Sound found its place within a global community of musicians, dancers, teachers and seekers. The festival became a living laboratory exploring the relationship between sound, silence, movement and inner awareness.
Magic Wands
For years Igor collected pieces of wood from forests, rivers and lakes, realising each wand became both sculpture and musical score. At festivals curious people were invited to choose a wand, after which an improvised overtone song often unfolded into intuitive reflections that deeply resonated with the listener. A simple artistic gesture became an unexpected doorway into human connection.

LISTENING TO THE EARTH

Ecology, regeneration and the living world

Singing for Water
Created around World Water Day, this initiative invited people to sing together in honour of rivers, lakes and oceans. Music became a gentle form of ecological awareness, celebrating our intimate relationship with water through shared presence rather than protest.
Earth's Hour
An invitation for people around the world to pause at midday and dedicate a minute—or an hour—of song, silence or heartfelt intention to clean skies, pure waters and abundant lands. A simple ritual imagining thousands of voices resonating together across the planet.
The Music Farm
For seven years, a unkept farm on the island of Corfu became a place of regeneration, hospitality and shared learning. Gardens were restored, a circular vegetable garden created and two simple cabins built on the land, welcoming many people for retreats, individual sessions, massage and life around the courtyard. At the same time, the Music Farm grew into a meeting point for local and international community, inspiring sharing circles, pop-up gardens, beach clean-ups and a village recycling space.
Polypoly
An alternative companion to Monopoly imagining a different way of living. Rather than competition and accumulation, the game explored cooperation, permaculture, sharing, ecological design and regenerative culture, inviting players to imagine another economy alongside the existing one.

FUTURE VISIONS

Ideas that continue to grow beyond traditional artistic boundaries

Floating Concert Hall
A visionary proposal for a floating concert venue travelling across Lake Lugano, bringing live music directly to lakeside villages. Rather than asking audiences to come to culture, culture itself would quietly arrive by water.
In The Belly of the Whale
A visionary retreat concept inviting participants to enter a semi-dark immersive environment inspired by the ancient story of Jonah. Combining recycled architecture, sound, colour, gardening and community, the Whale became a metaphor for transformation through entering the unknown before returning renewed.
Bridges
A quiet but powerful idea exploring sound as a companion during life's transitions. Created for "those coming and those going," Bridges imagined music and vibration supporting moments of arrival, departure, grief, celebration and renewal.
Innerspaces
The continuation of decades of research into immersive listening environments. Combining specially composed organic music with carefully designed sound spaces, Innerspaces invites deep relaxation, contemplation and the body's natural capacity for self-healing.

Today, Feeling Sound continues this exploration through concerts, workshops and retreats—creating spaces where people can experience themselves differently.

Looking back, I realise I was never really creating concerts, instruments or installations. I was learning how to build spaces in which people could encounter themselves, each other and the living world in new ways.
