Mongolian overtone singing, the deep voice of Tibetan
monks,
North American shaman, Australian and African voices,
musical stories that let one travel to unexpected places.
Igor accompanies himself with many musical instruments:
australian didjeridoos, japanese, african and irish drums,
different stringinstruments, an Indian shruthibox,
tibetan bells bowls and little toy instruments.
He practices the art of overtone or biphonic singing,
where two or more notes can be heard at the same time.
Improvising, making his audience laugh,
or leaving a beautiful silence at the end of a song.
Igor has given concerts in Europe and the United States,
and has recorded three CD's. |
